How We Celebrated Thanksgiving in 2014

Here’s a video of us mountain climbing yesterday on Thanksgiving Day. We just finished the most difficult part of the climb.

To our surprise my daughter Rainbow (who’s less than 3 and a half years old) did virtually all of the upward part of the hike herself. This was a first for her. In fact, she was never in the sling while we were going up. And the only reason we put her in the sling to go down was to save time as it was getting dark and there was no trail for us to follow.

Also Andrew did very well with the hiking. He was often leading the way. We also had fun in some small caves. Also Andrew and Rainbow climbed through a little tunnel while Karmyn and I climbed around the side of it and met them on the other side.

Andrew climbed up to the eye and got himself comfortable.

We had no idea if we’d find an easy way to get back to the truck or if we’d get blocked by a cliff or highly difficult terrain.

Later for dinner Karmyn made a delicious Thai inspired raw food dinner. Though not spicy for the kids.

We used frozen (raw) coconut meat from Thailand that we were actually able to buy at Safeway. That surprised us as we usually only find this young coconut meat in health food stores and even our local health food stores do not carry it.

In case you’re interested the brand is “Exotic Superfoods” Young Thai Coconut Meat. It was rather pricey at $15 for a pound. But when we added up our expenses it was about as expensive as taking the whole family out for dinner at a “cooked” Thai food restaurant.

Karmyn came up with a delicious new version of a RAW Pad Thai recipe made with young coconut meat.

And probably a lot cheaper than going out to a raw food restaurant of which there are none in our area anyway.

And I figured we’d also get in on the Thanksgiving fun by putting our all time best seller Savory Veggie Stews at the lowest price it’s been all year.

Plus you’ll get a NEW special bonus Thai recipe that Karmyn made for us last night on Thanksgiving. The recipe for what was in the picture above.

Andrew just absolutely loved it. And he’s a super finicky eater. And Rainbow chowed down on this too. I also loved it.

I’ll be emailing that bonus recipe to all Savory Veggie Stews customers sometime after this coming Sunday at 11:59pm Eastern Time. That’s also when this incredible Savory Veggie Stews sale ends.

The Truth Finally Comes Out About the Dangers of Water Fasting at the Wrong Place

Finally someone with the guts to very publicly admit what is going on behind the scenes at a water fast with Douglas Graham.

(Below I’ll be including a Youtube video made by Leah Branster who did a 25 day water fast with Dr. Douglas Graham and also just the mp3 file of the video. This way you can open it up in a program like the free VLC media player and boost the volume. I’m a bit hard of hearing and was unable to hear her video clearly on my laptop. So I figured you might like to have it in just the audio format.)

Please right click on the link below to download the MP3 audio version of the video to your computer.

I’m so sorry to hear the living hell that you went through (and likely are still dealing with) Leah.

But I’m also incredibly glad at your bravery in posting your experience. And also that you refused to be silenced for cash with a non-disclosure agreement in order for you to get your $8,000 refund. This is likely how things have been kept quite in the past. But you did not buckle under pressure. Bravo.

I believe your video will save a lot of people who could have died or severely damaged their health by doing a water fast without doing blood tests.

If someone is determined to fast then they should do it at a place like True North that has a very good reputation for fasting safely. They have a medical staff and they do regular blood tests. And the fasts cost a lot less than what Leah paid.

Unfortunately over the years I’ve heard too many horror stories associated with fasting.

Often it does not do what is promised. And many people I know have long term health problems caused by water fasting.

So please if you really think you must fast for your particular health condition then do it at a TrueNorth where you’ll be well taken care of by health professionals.

Also please take the time to read the comments below. We have several other people who have fasted with Doug Graham leave comments. Including at least one person who actually was fasting with Leah.
