After the candida is cleared up using the candida cleaner does the doctor recommend nuts, seeds, avocados, and some high quality oils like olive oil? What about beans after candida is cleared up?
Dr. Daniels Answer:
Your question is a very good one. After a decade of recommending “good” oils, I discovered that healing was greatly facilitated and candida stopped in its tracks when ALL oils were stopped. I now understand that whole foods heal and refined fats of all kinds are detrimental and promote candida.
I discovered this when I gave up all fats for 3 months and experienced resolution of a multitude of annoying conditions.
Nuts, seeds and avocados are okay in small amounts each day (maximum 1/4 cup nuts/seeds OR 1/2 avocado).
(NOTE from Roger: I’ve spoken to Dr. Daniels and she has stated that no more than 10% to 15% of your total caloric intake should come from fatty foods. Depending if you’re male or female, how big and active you are that could mean a higher or lower quantity of avocado, nuts or seeds.)
Beans are okay on a weekly or seasonal basis. If they are eaten daily or several times a day, then they can cause candida recurrence. This happens because the skins of the beans are not digested by human enzymes and thus remain as parasite food.
As for “good” fats like olive oil or coconut oil, I now advise using them topically. Topical use of oils allows your body to absorb them directly, bypassing the gut and the candida. This means that you get the benefits without encouraging candida. Essential fats like flax can be obtained from the flax seed.
So there you have it a simple solution to your candida problems. Simply stop eating any overtly fatty foods including, nuts, seeds, avocados, coconuts and oils for three months.
And stay away from those smelly gas producing beans.
