Raw Mistake Cost Med Student His Life

Below I received a frantic question and shocking story from one of my email subscribers.

Dear Roger

I need help answering some questions. My family want me to give up on raw diet claiming its too risky for more than one week and supporting that by a story that one of the medical student died because of this diet and that when was training at the hospital when he fall down. So, they tried to rescue him by he was not responding. Then, when they made anatomy to his body they found that the level of potassium in his blood was too high.

Also, they told me that this is, what we are doing is a Hollywood diet and many people died due to it.

Badr Abdul.

Thank you in advance

Thank you for sharing your story with us Badr.

Quite frankly I have very few details in what you sent me to confirm what may have been the cause of death. I don’t even know what country this happened in.

And that many people die due to eating the Raw Food Diet is not a reality. But a fruitarian diet, now that’s a different story.

I can tell you this. People can die of too much potassium or other imbalances of electrolytes.

For instance there are several cases of people actually dieing from drinking too much water. They literally washed out the excess minerals from the body TOO much and surrendered their lives as a result.

So don’t go crazy drinking 10 large glasses of water per day and then going out and running a marathon and drinking another 10 huge glasses of water. The combination of the water and the sweating away of minerals can do you in.

This is also why I don’t recommend a fruitarian diet. Which means eating fruit exclusively. Though there are some fruits that are high in mineral content it’s very important to eat a lot of mineral rich vegetables.

So Badr, don’t be concerned. I know people who’ve been 100% raw for over 10, 20 and even over 30 years. I’ve been 100% raw over 9 years and I have no such problem with excess potassium.

The truth of the matter is that most raw foods (not just bananas) are high in potassium.

So you must make sure to eat plenty of celery, tomatoes and other sodium and mineral rich greens.

When you do this then you’ll have a perfectly balanced sodium to potassium ratio without adding toxic salt of the inorganic variety.

Personally, I’ve found the easiest way to get in a lot of greens is to devour two or three Savory Veggie Stews every evening.

And eating loads of greens is one of the keys to long term success on the Raw Food Diet.

If you are not eating a lot in the way of greens it’s unlikely you’ll last more than a few years. Unless you have fantastic sources of mineral rich fruit and you eat plenty of those fruit daily.

It’s a rare person who can thrive on fruit alone. Most who attempt it end up regretting it later due to demineralization.

OK then, that’s enough for today.

“The Healing Minerals Report”

Surprising Sources of Mineral Rich Plant Based Foods – Special Report by Karmyn Malone [$27.00 Value]

Many people have been tricked into believing that you can’t get enough minerals from vegetarian, vegan or raw food diets and that the only solution is to add some animal foods to your diet.

Or that you need to take or eat expensive, stimulating and sometimes toxic “super foods” in order to get enough minerals and nutrients to thrive.

Well this report is about to blow those “supplement company and health guru lies” out of the water.

Stop wasting $100 to $200 a month on “superfoods” when you can exceed your mineral requirements by eating these common foods, many of which you can find in your supermarket produce aisle.

You’ll get a list of vegetarian raw food sources that are high in every major mineral. We even list plant source foods that are abundant in trace minerals as well.

* For instance, did you know that oranges are a great source of calcium. But to get the most calcium from them you have to know this simple trick.

* Or you might be surprised to discover that cantaloupe is a great source of organic sodium, magnesium, potassium, copper and manganese. And there are other fruits that are surprisingly high in minerals but most people simply don’t know which ones they are.

Just eat from these high mineral raw food sources regularly and you’ll get all of the minerals you need in great abundance.

NOTE: We’ll be emailing this special report to all people who are on the Savory Veggie Stews customer email list after December 25th.
