How A Fool Idea Doubled My Productivity

One Good Idea Can Change The Course Of Your Life

Sometimes just one good idea can revolutionize your life. Other times it's a combination of good ideas that propels you to new heights of happiness and achievement.

A year or two ago I discovered a powerful procrastination busting concept. My only problem was that I forgot to use it.

About a week ago I remembered how great this idea was and started using it immediately. Then as I worked with it, I added some new twists of my own to make it useful under more circumstances. I've been on fire with excitement for life and I've been getting lots of things done that I was putting off before.

Life is really exciting when you can't wait to work on your next project. I feel truly blessed to wake up every morning and on fire with the desire to get the next project done. I'll tell you what this idea is below, but first let's go over why ideas are so crucially important.

Magic Ideas Will Revolutionize Your Life

This procrastination busting idea that I'm sharing with you today is what I call a Magic Idea. It's an idea that's so good it can transform your life instantly. I've run into hundreds if not thousands of magic ideas like these during the course of my life. That's what happens when you're obsessed with reading anything and everything related to improving your life.

I read on a wide array of topics including self-help, law of attraction, spirituality, business, management, marketing, peak performance, health, nutrition and fitness. When you fill your mind with good ideas, you can create an incredible life and some out of this world good ideas. The quality of every single part of your life is determined by the ideas in your head.

Did you fully grasp that? Let me repeat: The quality of every single part of your life is determined by the ideas in your head. Beliefs by the way, are simply ideas you hold true. Your whole life depends on the quality of your ideas.

Ideas are like hidden gold mines that can turn you from pauper to prince almost instantaneously. We live in a world of thoughts and ideas. Every action you take, every thing you say, everything you do and build all started first as an idea. There could be no civilization without ideas.

There's only one difference between the most successful people and the failures in life, it's the quality of their ideas. I'm telling you there's nothing more to it than that.

If you have the right ideas, you'll be successful. If you have a poverty mentality, you will be poor and likely quite miserable. You might be thinking, the successful people are more talented or they have more drive and enthusiasm. But folks, you get these things because of the ideas you hold in your mind.

Ideas can ignite you to take action, they can show you a shortcut to health, happiness and wealth. The right idea can make you smarter, faster, healthier, wealthier. You name the type of improvement but it all boils down to ideas.

Not books or articles or classes but the ideas these books, articles and teachers give to you. I've paid $500 just for one good idea. Friends of mine sometimes think I wastefully spend my money. But what they don't realize is when those ideas I get pan out, they end up making me much more than I spent to acquire that idea.

Some people have spent thousands or even a million dollars to posses a brilliant idea or series of ideas.

Everything is About Ideas

In fact, I love brainstorming ideas. I could do that all day long and some days I'm constantly coming up with awesome ideas. Sometimes I get so many knockout ideas that I can't ever use all of them myself. I love it when I get great ideas, because from that moment on my life has dramatically improved.

One of the best ways to get good ideas is to be a reader. Read books and articles from people who are successful and you'll soon be thinking more like them. Once you think like them, you'll take action like them and then you'll be on the road to living the life you've always dreamed about. I'm an idea generating factory and often times I'm shocked at how fantastic these ideas really are.

Actually, I wrote an article and some forum posts last year about the Idea Factory concept. You can read them here:

http://www.thinkandgoraw.com/ideafactory.htm

http://rogerhaeske.com/talk/index.php?topic=86.msg277#msg277

That is another example of a Magic Idea. That was one of the best concepts I discovered in 2006 and I still use it and benefit from it on a daily basis.

This technique alone has easily tripled the number of Magic Ideas I've created in my own life and for my coaching clients.

Introducing Something New and Powerful For You

But what I want to get at here is that later this week I'm going to make public, something I'm extremely proud of, The Magic Ideas Interactive Newsletter. This new newsletter will transform, improve and revolutionize your life on many levels. You'll get powerful ideas that are quick to read, grasp and use in your life.

You won't need to read a whole book to start improving your life. Just one magic idea which might take you only a minute or two to read, could be the difference between disease and health, between flabbiness or fitness, the difference between boredom and enthusiasm or the difference between failure and success. I'm going to be offering the Magic Ideas Interactive Newsletter at a steep discount to my Superbeing Secrets subscribers.

The launch date is likely to be this Thursday or Friday. So make sure you act quickly so you can get the subscriber discount. The initial sale won't last more than 24 to 48 hours. The Magic Ideas Interactive Newsletter is the culmination of my life's work and mission. There's almost nothing else I'd rather do.

I think you'll see that even just one magic idea per month will completely transform your life. In the first issue, there are already over 30 of these Magic Ideas. In one of the latest magic ideas I show myself in the process of overcoming a bad habit. I show you the exact mental process I used to deal with overcoming that bad habit without willpower.

It was extremely easy and it's a refinement of a technique and I've never revelead it anywhere else. Ok then, enough of that for now. Let's get back to the idea that has helped me to willingly be more productive and to quash procrastination.

It's quite simple and something you can start using in the next two minutes.

Hence, The Two Minute Drill:

Whatever it is you're procrastinating on, simply promise yourself to do just two minutes worth of this activity per day. Even if it's a really big project. To some this might indeed seem like a fool idea, but they probably haven't tried it.

All you need is two minutes for many activities to get a lot of value out of doing them.

For instance, you can get an incredible workout if you just did sprints for two minutes. In fact, two minutes would be way too much for even the fittest athlete. But you could do a 2 minute sprint workout. You could sprint for 15 seconds and rest for 45 seconds. Do that twice and you got yourself a quick and powerful workout.

Or simply say you'll eat raw food for a minimum of two minutes and then you can continue your meal with cooked food. Just starting raw might get you to consider gradually adding more raw foods into your diet. The key to all of this is that sometimes the hardest thing to do is to get started.

There's a psychological barrier to starting a big project. So if you find an easy way to start something you often find that you'll continue for longer than the initial 2-minute time period.

Give this Two Minute Drill a try in your life. Why not dedicate two minutes per day to reading a book that can improve your life. Or commit two minutes per day to doing a spiritual exercise or meditation. Or take two minutes to talk to your kids and another two minutes to talk to your spouse.

Yes some people don't even do that. Use this idea and I think you'll soon find yourself getting a lot more important things done than you've been doing in the past. Some of those two minute activities might turn into a half hour to over an hour of work. The key was to just get started.

How do you think I got started writing this article. I didn't want to write because it was getting late and I wasn't in the mood. But I just told myself to work on it for at least two minutes. I ended up doing the whole rough draft instead.

In the July Issue of the Magic Ideas Interactive Newsletter I'll be sharing ways to take the Two Minute Drill and put it on steroids. You see once I remembered the Two Minute Drill I asked myself some Magic Questions as to how I could make this idea even better and use it all the time. And I've added several distinctions which will help you to take full advantage of this idea all throughout your day.

You're going to be on fire, with just this idea alone. But I'm only touching on the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what you'll be getting by subscribing to the Magic Ideas Interactive Newsletter. I hope you'll join me later this week.
