Who Else Wants Superchildren?
Yes it's true, you too can have Superchildren. Wouldn't you love to experience an easy childbirth? What about having kids that never get infections and hardly ever get sick or experience childhood diseases?
How about having kids with superior intelligence and who are happy and emotionally well adjusted. And kids with super endurance and physical capacities.
Children Shouldn't Get Sick
If you're child is sickly you can reverse it. Karen's son had severe asthma. It healed completely by switching to a raw food diet. Karen thought she was eating a healthy vegan diet, but her son was very sick until she finally switched the kids and herself to eating raw. Her son was actually getting sick off of her breast milk, while on a cooked vegan diet.
In a little over a week, I'll be doing a telephone / Internet conference with my friend Karen Ranzi, the author of "Creating Healthy Children." This conference will be open to current members of HowToGoRaw.com for free or you'll also be able to listen in for $50. You'll learn all about parenting children via the Raw Food Diet. Karen will also be discussing Attachment Parenting.
If you want to get in free, all you have to do is submit a good question below in the comments area of this post. The people who in my sole judgment leave the top five questions will gain free access to this teleconference / webinar.
You can learn more about Karen by visiting her website: http://www.KarenRanzi.com. She has some good articles up there that might help you to come up with questions to ask her.
You can also see the table of contents of her book below. That might also give you some ideas.

Hello Roger
My question for Karen is:
How do you help raw children to stay true to their path when they are at social gatherings that involve cooked food, e.g. other children's birthday parties?
Especially when you are not staying with the i.e. you drop them off and pick them up later
Thank-you
Jayne
HOW DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH FOOD YOU SHOULD GIVE YOUR RAW CHILD AT EACH MEAL? MY RAW CHILDREN ARE OVEREATING ALMOST EVERY DAY AND I DON`T KNOW WHEN TO STOP THEM. TATYANA.
Question for Karen:
What is the best way to help very SAD-diet older children accept/try new foods? So many say "let them observe you eating healthy" but that doesn't phase or impress my daughter!
Will it create any eating disorders or emotional issues if we always say "no" to our children when they ask whether they can have candy, coke or any other junk food that their piers are eating? My fear is that by not allowing my daughter to have any of those experiences later on she will binge on those or just abuse them.
What if the child does not want to eat greens eveyday?
What is really their daily nutritional requirement and can they really consume enough through the raw vegan diet?
Is raw food diet really the best option for every child? How about the blood type diet in correlation to the raw?
How can we teach our children about true hunger and how and when to eat? If within the family everyone would only eat when hungry, would that take away the special meal times? Would there be a good way to integrate that (eating only when hungry) into an everyday lifestyle where people are really forced to go by a predetermined schedule?
My question for Karen is:
I gave birth to a beautiful daughter three weeks ago and am a vegetarian. This baby is so much bigger and healthier than my first because I was not vegetarian with her. If I were to switch to a raw food diet while breastfeeding, would the detoxification that goes on affect my daughter in a negative way? Thank you.
Carrissa
Hi Folks,
Thanks for all your questions for Karen, keep them coming.
Roger
Hi! My son is two years old and currently we both eat about 80% raw, however my question concerns your views on schooling children. My husband is very opposed to homeschooling (although I am still considering it) and i was wondering if you knew about any of the other options available, i.e alternative education sources or schools dedicated to being more oriented to raising healthy, happy children instead of the horrendous public school system. I am very interested in hearing your views on this. Thank you!
What, if any, incidences would you have your children see a medical doctor and/or go to a hospital? Thank you. Jazya
Someone recently brought up to me that raw food contains more bacteria than cooked food, and that for someone with cancer, for example, it might be too much for their system to handle without getting sick. Can you please comment on this, as well as whether children would be more susceptible to these bacteria than adults? Thank you
My questions…
Are there any 'magic ingredients' that when added to raw food help your child to accept a change to raw food more readily?
If I were to start by introducing fresh juices, is this likely to make a raw food diet more acceptable to my son?
Thanks
How do I get myself and my two children transitioned into a Raw Food diet? Lately I have not been able to cope with even the simplest of tasks. I do not need to be converted to the beliefs, I already hold them. But I do need some kind of step by step to get us there, especially for my children, because, as I mentioned, I am maxed-out and feeling very drained of energy, support and mental function.
I have a 1 year old and a 2 year old. We are currently experimenting with the raw food diet and i am trying as best as possible to give them as much raw food daily as i can. I have 5 questions:
1. should the transition to raw food (for their age) be done gradually (my son has so far been raised as a cooked-food vegetarian, almost vegan except for eggs) and my daughter (the one-year old) is almost 100% raw (eating almost entirely fruit) or should the transition be cold-turkey?
2. for a one-year old who only has 4 teeth and more coming in, how can i make sure she's getting enough variety in her meals if she can most easily consume ripe fruit? is the only other way to get her to eat veggies and greens to make green smoothies with fruit mixed in to make it taste pleasant?
3. i find it extremely time-consuming and overwhelming to be preparing cooked food (SAD diet) for my husband, vegetarian cooked for my kids (in case they reject the raw food provided) and raw food for myself and kids. i feel the need to have the cooked veg. food available because i'm afraid of my 2 year old not eating enough…sometimes he doesn't want the raw food i offer him, but he'll eat the cooked food he's used to. how can i feed my family and stay sane? (ie. not be in the kitchen all day long!)
4. even though my 1 year old is almost entirely on a raw food diet, she has chronic sinus infections. i still breast feed and have only begun eating raw 2 weeks ago (i was eating home-cooked food of all kinds). What in my diet is the most likely culprit for her sinus infections?
5. what are the MUST HAVE daily raw foods for babies and toddlers? I don't want them to be missing anything essential due to my own lack of knowledge.
Thanks in advance for this opportunity.

Teenagers don't like to listen to their parents (because we know nothing!) — are there any books that are written on a teen's level that explains the health benefits of RAW and the consequences of the current trend (SAD)?
I have a huge library of books but want something that a teen will be intrigued to read that doesn't look so laborious.
Thank you.
Can I switch to a raw food diet while breastfeeding? I've heard that when your body releases toxins they can come out in the breast milk also. My daughter is 7 months old.
From Roger: There's many more toxins you are taking in from the cooked food on a daily basis. You're body has infinite wisdom and knows not to overload the milk with toxins. My girlfriend Karmyn went 100% raw while breastfeeding with zero problems.
