Health Freedom and Ron Paul…

This is really important.

Below is an email I received from Alkavision. I pass it on to you. I also support Ron Paul for supporting our health freedom and freedom in general. Many other raw foodists and freedom loving people support Ron Paul as well. Read below to get all of the details. Ron Paul’s website is http://www.RonPaul2008.com.

————————

As you know our country has some problems especially in the health care arena. If it hasn’t effected you yet it may in the future.

We as people elect politicians to "represent" us. So why aren’t things getting fixed? Are we being lied to or are we electing the wrong people to run our democracy?

As you have probably already heard (if not, you will soon) of a presidential candidate Ron Paul.

When it comes to health care in America he may well have the strongest stance on this issue.

Americans are justifiably concerned over the government’s escalating intervention into their freedom to choose what they eat and how they take care of their health. [allowing GM foods, vaccines, etc.]

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA), in order to comply with standards dictated by supra-national organizations such as the UN’s World Food Code (CODEX), NAFTA, and CAFTA, has been assuming greater control over nutrients, vitamins and natural health care providers to restrict your right to choose the manner in which you manage your health and nutritional needs.

Ron Paul has been the national leader in preserving Health Freedom.

Ron Paul has introduced the Health Freedom Protection Act, HR 2117, to ensure Americans can receive truthful health information about supplements and natural remedies.

Ron Paul supports the Access to Medical Treatment Act, H.R. 2717, which expands the ability of Americans to use alternative medicine and new treatments.

Ron Paul opposes legislation that increases the FDA’s legal powers. FDA has consistently failed to protect the public from dangerous drugs, genetically modified foods, dangerous pesticides and other chemicals in the food supply. Meanwhile they waste public funds attacking safe, healthy foods and dietary supplements.

Ron Paul also opposed the Homeland Security Bill, H.R. 5005, which, in section 304, authorizes the forced vaccination of American citizens against small pox. The government should never have the power to require immunizations or vaccinations.

AlkaVision officially supports Ron Paul and wishes him many more healthy years.

We kindly thank you for reading this message.

I believe Ron Paul is the only major candidate who has proven to be uncorruptible. Just check out his voting record and you’ll see his consistency.

There’s also a mass donation day going on tomorrow, November 30th at this site. You can make a difference. Ron Paul is taking the political world by storm.

There’s also this site for a massive donation on December 16, 2007. It’s the date of the Boston Tea Party.

On December 16th, 1773, American colonists dumped tea into the Boston Harbor to protest an oppressive tax. This December 16th, American citizens will dump millions of dollars into the Ron Paul presidential campaign to protest the oppressive and unconstitutional inflation tax -which has enabled a flawed foreign policy, a costly war and the sacrificing of our liberties here at home.

Read this PDF to get a quick overview of what Ron Paul is about.

"During ten terms in Congress, Ron Paul has never taken a Government-paid junket, has never voted himself a pay raise, and has not participated in the lucrative congressional pension program."

Health Freedom and Ron Paul… — 13 Comments

  1. Wow, Roger,
Be careful! Ron Paul is admittedly great on the issues of health freedom and getting out of Iraq, but he wants to take us back to the stone age in terms of taking care of the needs of this country! He’s a Libertarian who wants to take away taxes, social security, the Dept. of Education, and many much needed social programs and agencies that support basic infrastructure. He believes that the Civil Rights Act was bad and that civil rights and women’s rights should not be mandated! He doesn’t want poor people to have Medicare or Medicaid; everybody just pull themselves up by their bootstraps. And particularly worrisome is his insistence that corporations should be unregulated. What a disaster Ron Paul would be. Please reconsider. You have a lot of influence on raw foodists, who are by nature a little naive politically and easily influenced. Consider John Edwards of Dennis Kucinich. Thanks!

  2. Thank you Roger for speaking out in support of Ron Paul. I believe he is truly America’s last hope. The Republican frontrunners and the Democratics running will continue in President Bush’s footsteps and we will not only lose what precious health freedoms we have left but we will lose our national sovereignty and become united with Canada and Mexico in the NAU if Ron Paul does not get elected. I wish others with power and influence (in whatever field they are in) would start speaking out in support of Ron Paul. CNN’s debate was clearly pro-Hillary and gave Guiliani and Romney the opening and the closing questions (of course). It angered me that after the debate a panel six or so of CNN’s people were discussing the debate and one of them insinuated Ron Paul was a conspiracy theorist about the NAFTA Super Highway being built, planned NAU, etc. And not one of the others spoke up to tell the truth. Surely they all know what’s going on, but they are part of the real conspiracy theorists trying to keep all Americans in the dark about the truth of everything. If only Lou Dobbs on CNN would come out in favor of Ron Paul. I think he believes like Ron Paul does, but instead he is saying America’s only hope is if an independent candidate runs. Some of these well known people could help Ron Paul’s cause. I hope they get with it and realize he is this country’s only chance. Keep up the good work Roger.

  3. Hi Roger:

I have appreciated you and your philosophy for so long, but with your support for Ron Paul we part ways and I have to think about whether or not I want to continue to receive your wonderful e-mails. Mr. Paul is in many ways an attractive person – I’ve seen him and I understand that. But he is for this terrible terrible war that George Bush and Dick Cheney brought into the world. He is also opposed to many freedoms (very pick and choose). I appreciate that he may oppose the FDA, but his overall politics are the same selfish politics that are ruining what was once a great country.

Please reconsider your support of Mr. Paul. If you continue to make your forum a political support place for Mr. Paul, then I will certainly, reluctantly, stop subscribing to your site and I will never buy another of your products.

Thank you for your consideration of my position.

What control does Ron Paul have over who supports him? It would only matter if Ron Paul where a Neo Nazi and he certainly isn’t.

He’s simply a Constitutionalist. He believes in limited government as I do. He believes you can spend your money better than the government can.

    Cheers, Roger

  5. Sharran, Well I actually am a Libertarian as well. This post will give you the spiritual reason why I feel the way I feel. http://rogerhaeske.com/?p=85 Here’s the quote: "Lean on God and not on people or the government. The government can’t give you anything unless it first takes it away from you." Social programs eventually go bankrupt and they ruin the self reliance of the people on the programs.

France is about to go bankrupt because of their social programs. These program always go bankrupt. Universal health care gives you less than what you can get cheaply on the open market. I know the so-called great system in Canada isn’t so great. I have lots of relatives from there. But the US system is no success model either. That’s because we’re mired in rules created by the medical monopoly. Ron Paul would bust that monopoly if allowed.

We can help the poor and needy but this is not the role of government. And it sounds to me like you’re in favor of paying taxes. Wouldn’t you rather have a 30% increase in income than have to pay it to the government so they can spend how they feel is important? Big government is always deadly to personal freedom. Social programs come at much too big a price. They enslave.

    Roger

  6. Caroline, I believe you are mistaken on several points. Ron Paul never voted for this war with Iraq. He always voted against it. His beliefs would only bring each American a prosperity and freedom we have never seen before. Highly suggested viewing is this video: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1656880303867390173 Ron Paul is interviewed toward the end of this documentary. Then consider reading this book. "The Creature From Jekyll Island," and you’ll understand what we are up against. We are in very important times. If we don’t take action now, we’re about to move into an Orwellian type of world. Think the book, "1984". That’s exactly what we’re headed to. We are about to lose our nations sovereignty to the plans for the North American Union. Ron Paul is the only one who can do something about this and the only one seemingly who even knows about this as far as presidential candidates go.

    Roger

  7. Hi All
Ron Paul is a great man who with conservative Libertarian political values. He chose to run as a republican for the sole reason that most Americans have been so dumbed down that they are unable to differentiate between one candidate or for that matter one party from another and will naturally assume the political party that their parents were and just mindlessly vote the party ticket. That is American voter today. I bleieve that the winning combination would be Ron Paul for president with Dennis Kucinich as V.P. Both are moderates from both sides of the isle and share same core values concerning the lions share of issues common to all Americans.

Please also take a look at these important web resources and videos and share this with everyone on your lists.

  8. I’m with you on this Roger. It’s beyond my comprehension why anyone would vote for any democrat at this point who I believe are all for socialized medicine. I for one do not want my tax dollars going to pay for other people’s unhealthy lifestyle choices. Anyone who receive’s your letters ought to know by now that most health issues are due to these choices. Creating a nation of people that become more and more dependent on government is a slippery slope I have NO desire to go down. I want less government not more. My god, just look at what’s happened to almonds recently. Do we want more of this kind of control over our lives and our choices? I’m tired of the nanny state. It’s insulting my intelligence. I’m tired of the IRS. It’s time to get rid of that as well. Too many people have been lulled into a false sense of security allowing government to more and more tell them what’s “good for them.” Pretty soon people won’t know how to decide for themselves or won’t even have the choice. Just let government “nanny” do it for them. Thanks Roger for bringing this (as well as other things) to our attention. And thanks Ron Paul.

  9. Hi everyone, interesting to read the comments. It is always a bit risky bringing politics into a non-political field, but in reality politcis effects almost every aspect of our lives, no matter which country you live in, so you have my respect for speaking out Roger – when it would be easier to keep quiet and not upset any of your subscribers.

I’m from the UK and I have always found US politics to be a bizarre interpretation of democracy. Claims that the US is the land of the free are risible, unfortunately a huge number of US citizens seem to believe that, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. It is facile to consider that one must vote for Democrat or Republican, no matter who is in charge, they both emanate from the same filthy corruption of anything remotely democratic. We have the same in the UK, our 3 main political parties are all answering to the same master, in fact even the Green party and others do. So, we ended up with Blair (left/Labour) as one of our most appalling PMs ever (and that is saying something) advancing an agenda that Thatcher (right/Conservative) would have been proud of.

So don’t hit on Roger, just because he isn’t afraid to get political, he has obviously done his research. I’d also note that there is a lot of smearing and misrepresentation of Ron Paul going on in the media, so don’t believe anything until you’ve thoroughly checked it, the media as usual is more than happy to lie outright if it suits their purpose.

There is a massive global (not just US) onslaught against health now and invasion of our rights to make individual choices. We have a global fascist control rapidly coming to fruition – and I’m not being cavalier with my choice of words. If there is the opportunity to break this in some measure, by supporting someone who has a real possibility of being elected, then I’d think you have to go for it, whatever your ingrained political beliefs. I also support minimal government intrusion into our lives, the social ‘benefits’ that actually are nothing of the sort. These systems are set up to enslave individuals to authority, taking away their independence and self-belief.

No politician will be perfect, there is virtual endemic corruption throughout every government and party in the world. However, while we’re stuck with this system, someone like Ron Paul seems a reasonable option. The alternative is to get up off our backsides and take back our countries and freedoms, which is unlikely while the majority of people watch CNN and eat McDonalds!

Which leads perfectly to educating people about raw food health and Roger’s website :-)
