Is it necessary to exercise every day, or is every other day good enough? Please advise.

It's preferable to exercise every day or close to every day. Of course there's a lot more to it than that.

Is it okay to exercise the same muscle groups everyday, such as doing daily pushups and squats?

Well, I guess this forum is pretty dead. At any rate, I have made rapid improvements in my fitness program by doing the mini-workouts that you recommend. Best regards.
